The visual and aesthetic technical reports were prepared for the METRO LRT draft EIS/Phoenix, Arizona.
We completed the visual assessment for METRO’s Northwest Corridor Light Rail Extension. The 4.5-mile extension of the light rail transit corridor runs north on 19th Avenue and Bethany Home Road to Dunlap Avenue.
A DYE DESIGN was part of a teem to define Urban Design Guidelines for the future streetcar project, helped to define future Stop Architecture, participated in Alternatives Analysis for alignment options, and determining visual impact for the Environmental Assessment. An integral part of this work was the creation of sketches and other public meeting materials for the Citizens Advisory Committee. Completed in 2012.
Begun as a High Capacity Transit Corridor Alternatives Analysis, and currently in the draft Environmental Assessment review, A DYE DESIGN delved into urban design and station area planning, providing sketches, concept plans, and public meeting materials; physical planning and evaluation of alternatives, and Photoshop graphics for a Locally Preferred Alternative. A draft Visual and Aesthetics Technical Report for the Environmental Assessment is under review. An ongoing project.
