We assessed and analyzed existing conditions for pedestrians including walkway widths, surfaces, lighting, and obstruction. The report articulated recommendations and priorities for improvements. A list of ten projects for future CIP budgets was also listed.

The city, merchant groups, and neighborhood associations retained A DYE DESIGN as part of the design team to create an off-street pedestrian/transit link for the major developments within the Core between their four major commercial/retail nodes: The Esplanade, Biltmore Fashion Park, Town and Country, and the Pavilions.
